People on People

People fascinate me. It's a fact that will never die. For a long time I believed I was tired of people, pulling away from them because of having too many bad experiences. Acquaintance to all, friend to none.

It was certainly true, I did that for awhile, but since then I've realized that this isn't completely true, the truth is my friendships are deeper now, that means that they take more time to keep up. I wonder if that's the natural part of growing up or just my own "evolution" of life. However now that I've recognized it I am able to be more realistic and honest about my current relationships and why they are the way they are.

Now that we've touched on the psychology of Sarah, I think it's great time to get back to my original point. People on People. I love people and I do so love watching them interact. I was reading an online article about schools potentially going year round, see my link. Low and behold there are so many posts, including one not entirely thought out post by a high schooler declaring how overworked and tired they already are. (Bad news on the horizon kid - once you join the work force it's over -- those bills must be paid.) But what is so funny is that people raise such an outcry, it's a simple opinion piece detailing why some think we should and the author even admits to having some resistance to the idea. Yet it's almost like that part of the article doesn't exist and the author's calling for all our schools to go to year round immediatly!

People on People --- honestly what more is there to say?

Too Tired to Sleep

Working until 8pm and then spending the next five hours caring for a 2 1/2 week old = very tired.

So, why can't I sleep?!?!?!

Wealthy Affiliate

I've been considering a work from home business for awhile. Not to stop doing my full time job - which I love. But to supplement my income, make sure I can afford the house and the BMW!

Recently my best friends husband was denied permission to come back to the United States. He is living in Honduras - and she wants to go live with him there instead of staying here all alone with their brand new baby girl. If this works out I'm going to work with her to help her build a successful Internet business that she can use to support her family.

I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate based on another author's blog. Wealthy Affiliate has the tools to help you learn to build a growing business. I like how truthful they are regarding the time and the effort that it will take to build a budding business. That's one thing where people delude themselves, they believe that you really can get rich quick. You can't! Every successful business takes time, effort and planning.

I'm working my eight week plan now - hoping to make the best of it. I'll let you know how it goes.

Circle of Friends

I bet it's been at least six years since I've last seen this movie. Since then I've lived some life -- of course...haven't we all. How do people get themselves into these situations? Life is a string of choices. Sometimes the choices that you have made will come back to haunt you. Even if you do not realize that the road you are on could lead to a huge mistake - thats all a part of learning in this game called life.

It never fails to surprise me when I meet someone truly selfish, like Nan - someone who does much better thinking of themselves, but they rarely, if ever, think about other people. They make a mistake and then think nothing of ruining a close friends life in their efforts to put that mistake behind them - to move on from it. That kind of selfishness takes a special kind of person, and I don't mean in a good way.

It's sad really. How many selfish people do you know?
